Weapons (1) Empty Weapons (1)

Post by Lord Castellan Creed Tue Jan 26, 2010 10:09 am

I have quite a few suggestions to make, so here is the first lot. Just weapons

Eagle Rifle
-see This Page

When the person uses snipe mode, the player should be damaged more when shot at.

Mine

Several type's of this. These range from high powered ones to lower powered ones. Here is the list I came up with:
#Remote controlled mine - this is set and will explode when the player wants it to. Several can be set and they all explode at the same time.
#Timed mine - set timer. Ten seconds. When the time runs out it will go bang. Simple
#Proximity mine - When some one gets close it goes bang.
#Light sensitive mine - When a torch or other light source is shined on the mine it goes bang. This also works the other way, so if it starts in a light place, if a shadow falls on it, it will explode. Please see about the light in a later post.

Force field

Magic. This can be used and will protect you from damage. This only lasts a set time or until a set amount of damage is done to the force field.

That is all the weapons for now,

I'm considering having a drop sheild....
Mines sound good. Obviously not all of them will be implimented.

The difference between the snipe scope and non scope is the accuracy.

Well when in snipe mode you are unaware of any one attacking you, so damage will be more representing you not in a position of protection.

I guess. I will see how it works out in the form of weapon balance. The question is should the scope switch of while you reload? Or remain. Think in terms of gameplay balance not realism. Should the player be always vulnerable, or sometimes vulnerable?

yes it should switch off. Can you reload a gun while looking through a telescope? The player will only be more vulnerable when aiming. Because standing in the open looking through a scope is a bit of a target:)
